General information on RESCUEFORM Vacuum rescue mattresses
Since 1961, our company has specialized in plastic processing for medical and rescue operations. Vacuum mattresses and splints have since then been part of our product range for professional use in the rescue service. For this purpose we use especially developed materials meeting any demand of today and tomorrow. For the various application fields in rescue operations we offer different product versions coping with nearly any requirement in practice. The characteristic Schmidt service ensures short delivery times, quick repair works and customer-specific solutions, the options of which exceed the standard product range illustrated here.

Functionality of RESCUEFORM Vacuum mattresses
RESCUEFORM Vacuum mattresses easily adapt to any position of the patient. They have been made from a solid-material plastic film and are absolutely form-stable. Their individual formability is achieved thanks to flame-resistant polystyrene balls (DIN 53 438), stabilising to adapted constellations by means of vacuum. RESCUEFORM Vacuum mattresses are heat insulating, latex-free, permeable to rays as well as suitable for MRI and CT treatment. |

The OPTIVAC Vacuum rescue mattress is the ultimate in quality, hygiene, safety and handling. It is equipped with an underlay support made of a special, strong and flame resistant material with 14 handles all round, which increases flexibility during transport. The OPTIVAC vacuum rescue mattress is equipped with an automatically closing safety valve with vacuum limiter.

Basket stretches with special equipment
RESCUEFORM Basket stretchers meet the requirements of the Patient Health Care Regulation to come and are used where the transport of injured persons is not possible by means of conventional means of transport. Pits, shafts and caves, as well as ships, vessels, construction sites and mountain rescue are destined application situations.
